| A uniform of the Régiment Royal Ecossais. This is (obviously) only the coat and waistcoat. As this was a Scottish regiment of the French Army, (which was present at Culloden), the uniform is described as having been worn with a plaid. It could also be worn with breeches (which my client already had). The coat is made in dark blue and red wools by Hainsworths, and trimmed in white worsted military lace. The pewter buttons are hand cast, and the coat lined in linen. The coat is hand finished. |

| The waistcoat is made in the same red wool as used on the coat cuffs. It has a false linen back, and is trimmed with the same worsted lace as the coat. Again, the buttons are hand cast pewter, and the waistcoat is hand finished. |
